The Angkol Breakers came back from an 18-point deficit to stun the OBEC United, 91-81, in the Metro Cebu Basketball League Season 6 last Sunday at the Benedicto College Gym.

The Angkol Breakers found themselves in trouble early as they trailed, 8-26, at the end of the first period. However, they started to make their way back in the second with a 29-17 turnaround to pull to within six, 37-43, at halftime.

The Angkol Breakers finally overcame the deficit in the fourth period which they started with a 10-0 run fueled by Jhon Geraldizo who scored eight in that stretch. Overall, the Angkol Breakers outscored OBEC, 31-18, in the fourth to grab the win.

Geraldizo exploded for 37 points on 11-of-19 shooting. He added five rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Verlie Catubay added 14 markers, while Jan Gabest chipped in 12 points for the Angkol Breakers.

Allan Juezan scored 19 points to lead OBEC United, while Karl Ocanada added 15.
