THE total number of active Covid-19 cases in Pampanga is now down to 35 as of press time. Only six new cases were recorded on May 29, Sunday.
The Department of Health’s (DOH) official corona virus tracker places that total number of confirmed cases in the Pampanga since the start of the pandemic to some 88, 493 cases with 86, 602 recoveries.
Corona virus-related deaths in Pampanga have not increased from the 1, 856 recorded cases since last month, according to the DOH.
Pampanga has reported some 30 corona virus cases in the last 14 days. While Angeles City reported another 24 cases for the same period.
No virus-related death was recorded in the last 14-days.
Majority of the 45 health facilities in the province are now experiencing a decrease in the number of bed occupancies.
The rate of occupancy in the region is currently at 1.5 percent, the lowest yet since the omicron variant surge. This means that 704 of the total 715 hospital beds in Pampanga devoted for corona virus cases are currently available.
Some 39 health facilities in Pampanga are currently in the safe level with the on-going decrease of cases.
