Mexico resident bags SEA Games gold medal

AN e-sports game player from this Mexico town, Pampanga bagged a gold medal during the Southeast Asian Games held in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Lee Howard “Owl” Gonzales, a resident of Barangay Buenavista, is part of Team Sibol, which won against an Indonesian team in the e-sports game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang with a score of 3-1.

Mayor Teddy Tumang of this town recognized the excellence of Gonzales in the rising sports game during the Monday flag-raising ceremony.

Tumang awarded a certificate of recognition and P50,000 cash incentive to Gonzales as gratitude for bringing pride to their municipality and the country.

Tumang, meanwhile, urged Mexicano youth to continue striving for their dreams and become inspiration to others soon. (With Ian Ocampo Flora)
