USC grad ranks 9th in CPA exams

A GRADUATE of the University of San Carlos in Cebu City is one of the topnotchers of the recently concluded May 2022 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination.

Ron Niño Loon placed ninth in the CPA licensure exams, with an overall rating of 86.50 percent.

Other topnotchers included first placer Jhoone Cyrelle Nacario of the University of Santo Tomas (UST), who had a rating of 88.83 percent.

Darleen May Baria Alcantara of San Beda University and Yanna Jillianne Cruz of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Main-Sta. Mesa both placed in second place.

Charlene Mae Perez, also of UST, placed third while John Daniel Sarmiento of Dela Salle University (DLSU)-Manila placed fourth.

Nur-Hafeiza Jannah Abinal of Mindanao State University-Marawi City and Lester Antoni de Guzman of Divine Word College of Calapan both placed fifth.

Emmanuel Jerusalem of Bicol University-Daraga and Ron Scottie Pancho of the University of the East-Manila both placed sixth.

Christian Dominic Amoncio of Ateneo de Davao University and Bethany Jayne Carizo of Bicol University-Daraga both placed seventh.

Gerimee Mappatao, also of UST, placed eighth while Jillian Rae Chua of DLSU, August Joshua Dela Cruz of UST, and Jason Aldrin Mesde of Central Luzon State University placed 10th.
