Mabalacat City logs 1 Covid-19 death

THE local government recently recorded one Covid-19 death.

This was gleaned in the city's social media post Mabalacat City Covid-19 Updates dated June 8, 2022.

The fatality is from Barangay Dau, which recorded a total of 41 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

The city government at the same time recorded no new cases of Covid-19 on Wednesday.

There is only only one active case as of June 8, according to the city's update.

A total of 8,829 residents had contracted the virus and 8,588 of the patients recovered.

The city recorded a total of 240 Covid-19 deaths since March 2020.

Mayor Cris Garbo advised his constituents not to let their guards down against COVID 19 saying the pandemic is not yet over.

The mayor underscored the importance of vaccines and health protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
