THE Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) has lauded Vice Gov. Lilia Pineda for her contribution in the speedy processing of documents of patients that led to the efficient processing of benefits.
PhilHealth vice president of the Regional Operations Area Walter Bacareza and the Department of Health (DOH) presented the award early this week. The award is also in recognition of Pineda’s significant contribution to organizing members ’documents to expedite the transactions with Philhealth.
According to PhilHealth, Pineda played a big role in processing the documents of Kapampangan patients who were ill, especially during the height of the pandemic.
In addition, the vice governor also paved the way for the approval of the agency's 7.5 percent budget by helping lobby with legislators.
