THE prime suspect in the killing of a 23-year-old pawnshop manager in Kalibo, Aklan surrendered on Thursday morning, June 9, 2022, at Camp Crame in Metro Manila.

The Kalibo police identified the suspect as Mark Archie Torrefiel of Batan, Aklan.

The victim was identified as Bonna Ambay, a native of Pandan, Antique.

A P150,000 bounty was earlier announced to anyone who could lead to his capture. The P30,000 came from Kalibo mayor-elect Juris Bautista-Sucro and the rest came from the relatives of Ambay.
