“HE DID not receive any threats before his killing.”

This was stressed by Police Station 1 commander Major Ramel Sarona Thursday, June 9, as the investigation regarding the murder of an alleged law enforcement asset in Bacolod City continues.

Jose Allan Braza, 59, of Purok Malipayon in the city’s Barangay 35, was about to have his coffee on Wednesday morning, June 8, when the gunman shot him at close range.

Braza died on the spot from multiple gunshot wounds to his head, police records showed.

Three empty shells of a .45 caliber pistol were recovered from the scene of the crime, which the police described as a “well-planned killing.”

Grudge or work-related activities are among the angles being looked into by the police as the possible motive behind the crime.

Sarona said they are coordinating with the business establishments near the area to check if the surveillance cameras were able to capture the incident, as well as the identity of the perpetrators.

The police official is asking for the cooperation of those who may have knowledge about the crime to come out and help in giving justice to Braza.
