2 new Covid-19 cases in Oro are returning Filipinos

THE Cagayan de Oro City Health Office reported on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, two new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19), all of which are returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs).

This brought the cumulative number of Covid-19 infections in Cagayan de Oro to 25,876.

According to the City Health Office medical officer Dr. Teodoro Yu Jr., the two local ROF cases involved a 44-year-old male resident of Barangay Carmen who traveled from the United State of America, and a 38-year-old male resident of Barangay Bugo who traveled from Egypt. Both of them are vaccinated.

The total number of Cagayan de Oro's active cases is now at eight, of which one was admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center, four were outpatients and three were ROFs/LSIs.

The city also registered three new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 24,927.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in Cagayan de Oro remains at 941 in total, with no new Covid-related deaths recorded in the city.
