14 active cases in Cagayan de OroQ

CAGAYAN de Oro's active coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases went up to 14 as of June 15, 2022, the City Health Office reported.

Of the 14 active infections in the city, 11 were outpatients and three were returning overseas Filipinos/locally stranded individuals (ROFs/LSIs).

According to City Health Office medical officer Dr. Teodoro Yu Jr., Cagayan de Oro recorded five new cases, two of which were local index cases, one local case with link, and two persons deprived of liberty (PDLs).

The two local cases involved are an unvaccinated 38-year-old female from Barangay Bonbon, and a vaccinated 36-year-old female from Barangay Puntod. The lone local case with link is a vaccinated 62-year-old female from Barangay Bugo.

The two PDLs are a vaccinated 31-year-old male and an unvaccinated 27-year-old male. Both of them were residents of Barangay Lumbia.

The cumulative number of infections in the city is now at 25,883.

The total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro, on the other hand, is at 24,928, while the number of Covid-19 deaths in the city remained at 941, with no new Covid-related deaths recorded in Cagayan de Oro.
