A SUSPECTED robber was apprehended in a follow-up operation after he and his cohort reportedly ransacked their neighbor's residence in Barangay Alim, Himoba-an town, Negros Occidental Saturday, June 18.

Major Clifford Batadhay, Hinobaan police chief, said they did not recover the items from suspect John Ric Singson, 21, a laborer of the barangay's Purok Dos.

Batadhay said the items were stolen from the house of Ma. Theresa Tuballa, who was with another suspect Armando Catubay, 31, who evaded arrest.

He said they are still checking if the two have previous records with the police station.

Investigation showed that one of the suspects entered the house of the victim through the window, which he forcibly opened.

Tuballa told the police that one of the suspects was also armed with a gun.

She said the suspects took two cellular phones valued at P30,000 and a DLSR Camera valued at P30,000.

The victim added that she was able to hide inside her room until the suspects left by exiting through the same window they use to enter her house.
