THE number of coronavirus active cases in Pampanga has again significantly increased to 94 cases with additional 13 new cases recorded on June 19, Sunday.
The Department of Health’s (DOH) official coronavirus tracker places that total number of confirmed cases in Pampanga since the start of the pandemic to some 88,626 with 86,676 recoveries.
Coronavirus-related deaths in Pampanga have not increased from the 1,856 recorded cases since last month, according to the DOH.
Pampanga has reported some 76 coronavirus cases in the last 14 days, while Angeles City reported another 32 for the same period.
No virus-related death was recorded in the last 14-days.
Majority of the 45 health facilities in the province are now experiencing a slight increase in the number of bed occupancies.
The rate of occupancy in the region is currently at 2.9 percent, slightly higher than previous months. This means that 20 of the total 681 hospital beds in Pampanga devoted for coronavirus cases are currently occupied.
Some 39 health facilities in Pampanga are currently in the safe level despite the slight increase of cases.
