REDISCOVERING the way to see the most commonly perceived boring and plain subjects, BE Residences took this into a creative challenge to all photographers—novice and seasoned—through its second run of the photo contest, ‘Sexy Summer Structures 2022.’
On June 18, 2022, BE Residences concluded its summer-long photo contest with its awarding at BE Residences Show Suite, Mabuhay Tower CBP. Receiving the first place award with P15,000 and a three-day, two-night stay at BE Grand Resort Bohol is Michael Domen for his photo entitled, “BEhold Summer.”
The first place award for the ‘Open’ category, which called for DSLR and mirrorless users, was Emmanuele Sawit for his photo entitled, “IamBE.” And for the ‘Drone’ category, which is a new category for the contest, the winner was “BE Unique” by Michael Sagonoy.
The ‘Sexy Summer Structures’ photo contest judging process began with the preliminary judging attended by local experts Ryan Raymund Yu of LifeSmartPH, Ryan Peter Go of RPG Photoshop, and Ryan T. Go of F8 Photo, together with BE Group president Grand T. Benedicto and chief operating officer Nova Noval. After the preliminaries, the shortlisted entries were then judged by national photography industry icons Erwin Lim, Ted Madamba, Wig Tysmans, and Paulio Alcazaren.
Contestants were to subject BE Residences’ properties and capture them into hot summer subjects. Such properties included BE Residences show suite, BE Residences Lahug construction site, Balai Studio Suite, or its sister office building companies, Mabuhay Tower CBP and Mabuhay Tower IT Park.
