A TOTAL of 22,760 children aged five to 11 in Cagayan de Oro have already received their second dose of Covid-19 vaccines as of June 20, the City Health Office reported Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
According to Dr. Teodoro Yu Jr., medical officer of the City Health Office, the target for the Covid-19 vaccination rollout for children aged five to 11 in Cagayan de Oro is 91,841.
Yu said that 37.47 percent of the total target population or 34,422 children aged five to 11 have already received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccines.
As of June 20, 2022, Cagayan de Oro City has recorded a total of 554,688 fully vaccinated individuals or 91.69 percent of the target population, which is at 604,953.
The said target population includes children aged 12 years and above.
Cagayan de Oro also logged 143,599 individuals who already received their booster shots.
