SOME 3,000 Kapampangans from the towns of Arayat and San Luis received financial assistance from the provincial government on Tuesday, June 21.
Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda personally led the distribution of P3,000 under the Cash Assistance for Needy Kapampangans program of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office.
"I hope this money will somehow help your families, even if it's just to buy rice and a dish, or groceries," said Governor Pineda.
He also reminded beneficiaries to beware of those asking for a percentage on the assistance they received.
"Please remember that what you received is only for you, you are not bound to give anything to anybody, it is yours," the governor added.
Angelina Blanco, special assistant to the governor, also helped with the distribution.
