On-duty cops prohibited from using cellphones

A TOP official of the Pampanga police office has warned policemen to stop using and playing with their cellphones while they are on duty.

Colonel Alvin Consolacion, director of Pampanga police, issued the warning during the News at Hues media forum hosted by the Pampanga Press Club (PPC) and Park Inn by Radisson Clark on Tuesday.

Consolacion, who assumed his post last in April this year, said he instructed his policemen to perform their duties properly to win the hearts of the people.

He said the Police Community Relations (PCR) may be disolved and become irrelevant if every policeman do his job well.

"Do your job and when you do your job, do it well.

The police official also mentioned that cops should serve the people of Pampanga wholeheartedly.
