TWO drug personalities were arrested in a drug bust operation by operatives of Police Station 3 in Purok Mahimaya-on, Barangay Bata, Bacolod City Wednesday afternoon, June 22, 2022.
Police identified the suspects as Gerry Conlu, 56, and Rex Capus, 32, all of the said village.
Captain Armilyn Vargas, commander of Police Station 3, said the suspects were arrested after one of them sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur buyer.
Police recovered from the suspects’ possession 23 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 4.3 grams with estimated market value of P29, 240, the P200 marked money and drug paraphernalia.
Vargas said the suspects were under surveillance for almost a month before their arrest, adding that Conlu was identified as a street level individual in Bacolod City.
The suspects were detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 3.
They will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
