TWO Covid-19 patients in this city have recently recovered from the virus.

This was learned from the city government's social media post on Thursday.

The patients who recovered from the disease recently are from Mawaque Resettlement and Barangay Santa Maria.

The city now has eight active Covid-19 cases as of Thursday.

A total of 8,841 residents had contracted the virus since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

Some 8,593 of these patients had recovered from the virus, according to the local government.

No new active cases and no fatalities were reported on Thursday.

A total of 240 individuals residing in this city had died from the virus since 2020.
