SOME 30 government agencies and private companies joined the one-stop business hub event of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) this week as part of its celebration of the Philippine Environment Month this June.
The participating companies and agencies provided government employees and the public a chance to avail of frontline services and transactions.
DENR Regional Executive Director Paquito T. Moreno Jr. noted that the event provided an opportunity for government agencies and the private sector to truly express unity in providing service to the public.
"With the HR@UrService, we bring together different public and private offices, so we may be able to extend their services in a one-stop business hub, allowing our fellow employees, colleagues in the government service and even relatives, to avail service in a very convenient manner." Moreno said.
Civil Service Commission Regional Director Fernando Mendoza lauded this initiative of the DENR noting that the event served as channel to provide a streamlined and efficient interface among government agencies, businesses and the public.
This year’s environment month runs with the theme “Aksyon Para sa Natatanging Mundo,” which calls for collective and transformative action on protecting and conserving the planet.
