IN ITS intensified operation against illegal drugs, the Bacolod City Police Drugs Enforcement Unit seized eleven sachets of suspected shabu valued at P170,000 shabu from three drug suspects they arrested in Barangay Handumanan past 1 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2022.
The police identified the arrested suspects as Joseph Espirito, 32; Rio John Diwatin, 32; Cesar Espirito, 33; and Rose Anne Bachoco, 28, all of the barangay’s Purok Narra.
They were arrested after one of them sold a sachet of the suspected shabu to a poseur buyer, the police said, adding that the confiscated items weigh 25 grams.
Aside from the contraband, the police seized P500 marked money, P200 in cash and other illegal drug paraphernalia.
The younger Espirito is a street-level individual in Bacolod City while three others were newly identified drug personalities.
The suspects are detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 10 and will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
