THE Danao City police seized almost P100,000 worth of illegal drugs and arrested four drug suspects in separate anti-illegal drug operations during the region-wide conduct of Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (Sacleo) on Saturday, June 25, 2022.
The four individuals were arrested in their houses, namely, Dante Matuto, 36, of Barangay Guinsay; Adrian Matugas, 27, of Barangay Ibo; Tricia Marie Tugade, 26, of Barangay Looc; and Imac Jones Hermoso Manto, 32, of Barangay Tuburan Sur.
Chief Master Sergeant Reynante Manulat, chief investigator of Danao City Police Station, thanked the residents for reporting the illegal drug activities in their community, resulting in the arrest of the suspects.
"Kadto mga nag lihok nga mga illegalista, di mi mohunong sa pagdakop ug dili mo mabutang sa likod sa mabugnaw nga rehas (Those illegalists, we will never cease until you will be put behind bars)," Manulat said.
Lieutenant Colonel Fortunato Ty Ecleo Jr., officer-in-charge of Danao City Police Station, said they were able to confiscate a total of 14.68 grams of shabu with a street value of P99,824 during the one-day Sacleo.
The arrested individuals will be facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (GDC, TPT)
