OPERATIVES of Talisay City Police Station nabbed 43 persons and seized P1.5 million worth of illegal drugs during the implementation of Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (Sacleo) on Saturday, June 25, 2022.
Talisay City Police Chief Randy Caballes headed the operation that led to the arrest of six drug suspects, 13 for illegal gambling, four personalites who are on the warrant list, and the apprehension of 20 traffic violators.
Caballes told SunStar Cebu that a total of 235 grams of shabu with a street value of P1,598,000 were confiscated during the one-day Sacleo.
On the campaign against loose firearms, four firearms were surrendered.
The arrested persons are now under the custody of Talisay City police pending the filing of charges against them.
According to Caballes, the City of Talisay Police Station continues to intensify its anti-criminality campaign to make the community safer. (GDC, TPT)
