THE San Carlos City Table Tennis Club (SCCTTC), in coordination with the City Sports Office, awarded the 62nd Charter Day Table Tennis Tournament winners on Sunday, June 26.
For U12 boys’ and girls’ categories champions, the winners received P1,500 each, while first runners up and second runners up received P1,000 and P800 each, respectively.
In the U18 boys and girls categories champions received P2,000, P1,500 for the 1st runner up and P1,000 for 2nd runner up.
Champions of the 25 Up mixed, 35 Up mixed and 45 Up mixed categories received P3,000 while 1st runners up and 2nd runners up took home P2,000 and P1,000, respectively.
SCCTTC also gave out jerseys to all participants of the tournament.
Dennis Peñalosa, on behalf of Jesus Facundo Combato Jr. officer-in-charge of the Sports Office, attended the competition.
Brian Jerald Juntela, coach Coordinator of SCCTTC, said that of more than 20 participants from different cities within Negros Occidental, who had applied for the Senior High Varsity at the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, three are from San Carlos City.
