Popular music groups highlights San Carlos City employee’s night lip sync battle

The Green Team composed of the employees from the San Carlos City Mayor's Office, City Library, City Disaster Risk Reduction & Mgt Office, Sangguniang Panlungsod and the City Administrator's Office as declared champion in the Lip Sync Battle during the Government Employees’ Night event held at the city hall ground on Thursday, June 30.

Impersonating the famous American girl group and dance ensemble the Pussy Cat Dolls in concert, the winning team bagged P20,000 in cash.

The Yellow Team composed of personnel of the City Treasurer's Office, City Assessor's Office, City Environment Management Office, Accounting & Internal Audit Services, City Budget Office and City Agriculture landed in the second Place for impersonating the British group- the Spice Girls and received P15,000 cash prize.

In the third place was the Orange Team of the City Health Office, Waterworks Department and Public Market and Slaughterhouse Department and General Services Department for their performance as The Steps and got P10,000 cash prize.

Consolation prize of P5,000 were received by the blue and red teams for their performances as the Back-eyed peas and the Backstreet Boys, respectively.

The Blue team is composed of the employees from the City Hospital Department while those from the City Planning and Development Coordinators Office, City Engineering Department, Social Welfare and Development Office, City Legal Office, Registry of Deeds and Office of the City Civil Registrar composed the red team.

Was given to each group of The Blue Team of which performed as The Black-Eyed Peas and the Red Team composed of the as the Backstreet Boys.

Tourism and Information Officer of the Municipality of Calatrava Ami Rose B. Lavilla, Festival Choreographer Raymond Dexter Verzon, and Guihulngan City City Planning & Development Coordinator Randy Brando Woo served as judges for the event. (PR)
