NEW City of San Fernando Mayor Vilma B. Caluag and her team continue to meet with prospective health groups and individuals from the private sector to secure reliable machines for one of her priority programs of giving free dialysis and chemotherapy sessions for Fernandinos in need.
“Tuki-tuki la pu reng meeting tamu, lalawen tamu nung ninu ing makapamyeng peka masanting a presyu para king syudad kambe ning kalidad ning karelang serbisyu at sentingan ning karelang dialysis machines (Our meetings are continuous and we are looking for who can give a reasonable price for the dialysis machines and quality of service for the city” said Caluag, underlining her initial budget plan of P15 million for the said project.
Caluag disclosed that she plans to use the San Fernando Civic Center in Barangay Del Rosario, to house the incoming machines and be the clinic where the dialysis sessions will be conducted.
“Target tamu pu manikwang 30 dialysis machines, bang makapamye saup kareng 90 Fernandino patients everyday (Our target is to acquire 30 dialysis machines to help 90 Fernandino patients everyday),” the mayor said, as she continues to push forward with more major programs under her Universal Health Care Plan.
Not wanting to waste any time, Caluag asked every one involved in the meeting to speed up the process to get the program up and running even before her first 100 days in office.
Meanwhile, Mayor Caluag assured that the Fernandinos will not have to pay any amount to avail the said treatments.
“Nung agawa taya pu at apatalakad in 60 days, king panakit ku feasible pu ita, nung agawa tamung mas mabilis mu rin pung adake ing serbisyu kareng masakit at mangailangan dialysis, mas makasaup tamu rin king karelang gastus uling maging libri ining dialysis treatment ibat king syudad (If we can establish that in 60 days, I see it feasible so we can serve immediately those in need of dialysis and help them in their expenses as dialysis from the city will be free),” she said.
