OPERATIVES of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Zamboanga City Field Unit (CIDG-ZCFU) have arrested a wanted person facing two criminal charges in Zamboanga City.
The CIDG-ZCFU identified the arrested wanted person as Jonathan Alaton, 46, a resident of Luyahan Hilltop in Pasonanca village.
Alaton was arrested around 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, at his residence by virtue of two warrants of arrest issued by the court.
The CIDG-ZCFU said that Alaton has standing warrants of arrest for statutory rape without bail and acts of lasciviousness with P108,000 recommended bail.
The CIDG-ZCFU said that the suspect was arrested as they intensified the conduct of the “Oplan Pagtutugis”, a campaign against wanted persons in the region. (SunStar Zamboanga)
