Candaba VM vows unity with fellow execs

VICE Mayor Resty “Tiko” Sibug of this town has vowed to work with his fellow officials who belong to a different political party.

Sibug said he will work on legislative measures for the common good of Candabeños.

The vice mayor added that he will set aside differences brought about by politics so that projects and programs are delivered to the people.

“‘Yung differences lalo na sa prinsipyo ay hindi mawawala but sabi nga ‘vox populi, vox dei’ and we respect the voice of God and the people. Trabaho na tayo ngayon para sa common good,” he said.

Sibug, who is a 2021 Bagong Bayani awardee for Community and Social Service, disclosed his vision to make Candaba one of the great municipalities by 2040.

“Start na po natin ang roadmap for Vision 2040 at ang number sa agenda ay i-align ang ating mga programa sa local at national. Para sa transparency, naka-live ang bawat session namin para makita ng Candabeño na nagtatrabaho lahat ng kanilang inihalal na opisyal,” he said.

An engineer by profession, Sibug also underscored the strong partnership with Mayor Rene Maglanque in implementing the administration’s infrastructure program.

“Isa sa mga priority ni Mayor Rene Maglanque ay infrastructure at masisiguro ko ang suporta at tulong na kakailangan ng ating mayor,” he said.
