FORMER Negros Occidental Third District Board member Patrick Lacson won the love of Trishia Kathleen Torre Jalandoni, whose mutual consent to love each other was declared before a civil wedding rite on Sunday, July 10, in Bacolod City.

The couple exchanged marriage vows before Bacolod City Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez, who served as the solemnizing officer.

It was the first time for Benitez to solemnize such a wedding rite within his jurisdiction, an authority vested on him under the Local Government Code of 1991.

Mayor Benitez said that their match was made in heaven.

Senator Joseph Victor "JV" Ejercito, Negros Oriental Third District Representative Arnulfo "Arnie" Teves, Jr., Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer, Board member Andrew Montelibano, Bacolod City Congressman Greg Gasataya, Abang Lingkod Partylist Representative Stephen Joseph Paduano, Councilor Jude Thaddeus Sayson and several others graced the wedding.

The former Board member thanked his wife for loving and accepting him wholeheartedly in good and even in their most challenging times.

Their love for each other has withstood all trials that came their way that strengthened their relationship.

The Lacson couple thanked their family, friends, and political allies who honored their invitation to grace their civil wedding rites.
