TALISAY City has topped the list of areas in Cebu Province with the highest number of dengue cases, but City Health Office head Dr. Lino Alanzado said the situation is not yet alarming.

He said that this year, the number of dengue cases has decreased.

This decrease, however, should not be used as basis to be complacent, Alanzado stressed.

He said the City Health Office will continue to conduct misting in different barangays in Talisay City.

Based on data from the Talisay City Health Office, 394 dengue cases and four deaths have been recorded in the city from January 1 to July 2, 2022.

Talisay was followed by Minglanilla, which recorded 253 cases and four deaths.

Third on the list was Danao City, with 238 cases and two deaths.

The City of Naga placed seventh in the list with 128 dengue cases and two deaths. (BBT)
