“It will take centerstage on July 23, Saturday, 6 p.m. at the Degrees Diner Parking Grounds dubbed as A Night of Music: Live Band Night with special performances of “Cheap Monks”, “One of a Kind”, and “Ronald Dumpit and his band,” paambit ni Jucil Marie Arciaga nga maoy nagduma sa Degrees Diner Grill and Resto-Bar.

“The proceeds of the event will be given to the underprivileged children of Compostela. Degrees Diner has been doing feeding program since we had our opening last December as our way of giving back to the community kay mao pud ni ang gina-practice sa owner and his partners sa ilang brotherhood,” dugang ni Arciaga sa interbyu sa Superbalita Cebu.

“Nag-open mi after gyud sa super bagyong Odette pag-December 28 because we know the community needs a good place to unwind during those difficult times so we joined forces to make this happen.”

Ang Degrees Diner kanunay gipistahan labi na kon Biyernes ug Sabado tungod sa ilang live acoustic bands from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. ug unli-sugba and buffet ug unli-drinks nga P278 lang.

“Ang unli-sugba and buffet ug unli-drinks promo is only on weekends but we also have larangan and other Filipino dishes display in front for the commuters and travelers from the North or going south nga in a hurry or those who can’t make it for lunch or dinner. We are open everyday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.”

“Actually, two of the owners ga-operate pud sila og milktea which is ang Degrees Milktea. Didto gyud ko nag-start og work sa admin side. Pag-open sa Degrees Diner gibalhin ko nila and it was decided nga ako ang mo-manage. Sir Alejen is a close friend of mine and like a brother to me,” asoy ni Arciaga.

“The word `Degrees’ gikan sa ilahang brotherhood while `Diner’ stands, of course, for customers who want to experience cheaper yet lamian nga foods. We also accept exclusive reservations for any occasions. We have a big parking lot, very spacious gyud.”

“Watch out also for our battle of the bands happening this year. All these including the feeding program is our way of saying thank you to all those who continue to patronize Degrees Diner and making us a part of your celebration.”
