POLICEMEN under the Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) have arrested two wanted persons and a drug suspect in separate law enforcement operations in this southern port city, the police reported Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

Police Colonel Alexander Lorenzo, ZCPO director, identified the arrested wanted persons and drug suspect as Rolando Bucoy, 62; Ignacio Señara, 36; and, Arton Mirad, 33.

Lorenzo said that Bucoy was arrested in a warrant of arrest operation Monday, July 18, in Curuan village for the crime of seven counts of rape with no bail bond recommended.

Meanwhile, Señara was arrested for the crime of Estafa with corresponding warrant of arrest issued by the Municipal Trial Court.

Mirad, on the other hand, was arrested in a buy-bust in San Roque village.

Lorenzo said that seized from Mirad were some P1,000 worth of suspected shabu. (SunStar Zamboanga)
