What a blast that was!

The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) officially launched Cebu Business Month (CBM) 2022 at The Terraces in Ayala Center Cebu (ACC) with great pomp and pageantry, bannering the theme, “Go, Cebu.”

Adding color and vibrance to the activity was the tropical mood as dress code, wherein members wore floral outfits with dazzling accents, befitting Cebu as a hospitality hub and must-go destination!

In the words of ACC general manager Jia Sadol, “We fully support CBM’s thrust to emerge even stronger, by applying the best practices from the stakeholders, founders, innovators and the creative industry, thus reviving the local economy.”

To further impress, was the honorable presence of the following celebrities: Cebu City North District Rep. Rachel “Cutie” del Mar, Cebu City South District Rep. Eduardo “Edu” Rama, Department of Tourism (DOT) 7 Director Shalimar Tamano, and Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama, who urged the locals to unite and work together to move forward, and thus attain and maintain peace and prosperity, both in the city and province.

Other highlights of the event: A Fashion Show by Unisol Exclusives featuring its Chameleon Collection; and the Knapsack Dancers, Sonata and DJ Jong Garcia, who kept the crowd interactive, plus the live, nostalgic numbers from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s! Keeping the event “kicking”was super emcee, Miss Cebu 2022 first runner-up, Dannika Anne Ocampo. Yehey!

To “Realign, Reinforce, Rebuild,” CBM 2022 paves the way for an eventful series of activities on Tourism, ICT-BPM, Entrepreneurship and Creative Entertainment. Valued supporters are Filinvest Land Inc., PLDT Enterprise, Smart Communications Inc. and NUSTAR Resort.

Co-presenters are Cebu Landmasters Inc., Maya Business and IPI. Platinum sponsors include Arthaland Corp., Ayala Center Cebu, Cebu Pacific Air, Converge iCT Solutions Inc., Eastern Communications, Qualfon Philippines and SB Finance.

Not to forget: The CBM Opening Salvo was made possible through DOT Central Visayas and Tri Gold Venture as event sponsors. We look forward to more, CCCI! Toasts.
