A suspected drug pusher from Cebu City yielded over P2 million worth of illegal drugs during a buybust operation in Sitio Bliss, Barangay Bonbon, Aloguinsan town around 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2022.
Ras Fernandez Manano, 44, married of Sitio Lawis, Barangay Pasil, Cebu City was arrested by the police for having in his possession one small pack, one medium pack and four large packs of suspected shabu weighing 410 grams with a street value of P2,788,000, while his cohort, Surina Peñalosa Gocela, 52, a widow, of Purok 4, Barangay Bonbon of the said town eluded arrest.
Lieutenant Roberto Barnido of Aloguinsan Police Station said the buybust operation was conducted by the station's Drug Enforcement Unit.
The P17,000 in marked money was also recovered from the suspect.
Meanwhile, another drug personality was arrested in Bajac Road, Barangay Poblacion, Liloan town, northern Cebu around 11:50 p.m. on Friday, July 22.
Police Major Ramil Morpos of Liloan Police Station identified the suspect as Anthony Malagar, 22.
Seized from Malagar were 15 grams of alleged shabu worth P102,000. (GPL, TPT)
