MORE than 556,000 people in Cagayan de Oro have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) as of July 29, 2022.
According to data presented by the City Health Office, Cagayan de Oro City has recorded a total of 556,641 fully vaccinated individuals, or 92 percent of the target population, which is at 604,953.
The target population includes children aged 12 years and above.
Of the target population, 582,226 Kagay-anons have already received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Cagayan de Oro also logged 150,874 individuals who already received their booster shots.
Meanwhile, a total of 27,476 children aged five to 11 in Cagayan de Oro have already received their second dose of Covid-19 vaccines as of July 29.
The target for the Covid-19 vaccination rollout for children aged five to 11 in Cagayan de Oro is 91,841.
According to the CHO's data, 37,926 children aged five to 11 or 41.29 percent of the total target population has already received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccines.
