THREE drug suspects were arrested in an anti-drug operation in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi, the police reported Wednesday, August 3, 2022.
The Bongao Municipal Police Station identified the arrested suspects as Rosalino Balasing Israil, Recto Dalimanis Lukatsaro and Alnasir Kirah Sahirin.
The police said they were arrested in a buy-bust operation around 9:10 a.m. Monday, August 1, in Pag-Asa village, Bongao town.
The police launched the buy-bust operation following a report that illegal drug trade is taking place in Pag-asa village.
Recovered from the arrested suspects were some 2.6 grams of suspected shabu worth P17,680.
The suspects were detained and will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (SunStar Zamboanga)
