A GROUP of friends visited the miraculous Simala Shrine in Sibonga, Cebu to gain a spiritual boost.

Catherine Canto, who hails from Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City and is now based in Tokyo, Japan since 2007, , came back to Bacolod after eight long years.

Canto, together with longtime best friends Jeffrey Javines and others, went to Simala to visit the miraculous church and came back swiftly to Bacolod thereafter.

Known by many as one of the most beautiful churches in Cebu, Simala Shrine is a place of pilgrimage for devotees.

The miraculous Mother Mary Church after the Virgin Mary statue housed within the Shrine was seen weeping, and from then on attracted hundreds of people every day.

They are hoping that their prayers will be answered, and yes, numerous testimonies reveal that their prayers were answered, from winning the election, passing the licensure examination, bearing a child, and others.

Simala remains to be not just a pilgrimage but also a tourist attraction.

Traveling from Bacolod City to Sibonga, Cebu to visit Simala, the girls were having high hopes that whatever their wishes are, they will be answered. These are just one of the few things a devotee feels and keeps in their hearts on their way to the shrine.

Regardless of whatever their desires and wishes are, their hope and faith told them that as they seek it shall be found, as they knock it shall be opened, and as they ask it shall be given.
