For the same period, about 55 persons with pending arrest warrants were arrested, including eight most wanted persons and 47 other wanted persons charged with various offenses.

In its campaign against loose firearms and the continuous information drive on the Philippine National Police's Oplan Katok Program, or annual verification of firearms, it seized one homemade firearm.

A total of 11 homemade firearms were also voluntarily surrendered to BCPO.

In the campaign against all forms of illegal gambling, the local police conducted a total of 17 operations against violation of Presidential Decree (PD) 1602 and PD 449 that led to the arrest of 63 individuals.

The police also recovered a total of P4, 717 bet money and 17 cases were filed in courts against the violators.

BCPO Director Colonel Thomas Joseph Martir, in a statement, commended the operating units and its personnel for doing an excellent job against all forms of criminality.

He said these achievements coupled with focused police operations are the top priority of the BCPO in the pursuit for a peaceful and orderly community.

The BCPO director vowed to continue its police operations, giving emphasis on crime prevention and swift resolution of cases.
