AT least two wanted persons were nabbed in separate police operations in Bohol on Saturday, August 6, 2022.
In Cortes town, a certain Junjun, 38 years old, was arrested past 1 a.m. in connection with his sexual molestation case.
The policemen from Loboc and Cortes towns, together with the personnel from the Regional Intelligence Unit in Central Visayas served the warrant of arrest issued by Judge Samuel Amila Biliran of Regional Trial Court Branch 50 in Loay town against Junjun with a recommended bail of P200,000 for his temporary liberty.
Junjun allegedly molested a 12-year-old girl, who is also his relative, in 2021.
According to Police Staff Sergeant Urven Molina, investigator of Loboc Police Station, Junjun hails from Sandingan Island in Loon town.
Molina said the suspect has been hiding in Cortes since after the incident in 2021 to elude arrest.
In Anda town, a certain Elmer Fernandez Deloy, 38, was arrested for his attempted homicide case around 10:30 a.m. on the same day in Purok 1, Barangay Suba, Anda town.
Judge Gertrude Belgica Jiro of Municipal Trial Court 6th Judicial Region 6 of Dumangas Iloilo City issued the warrant of arrest against Deloy on July 19, 2022. (BBT, TPT)
