SM Supermalls, TSU ink pact for employment partnerships

CLARK FREEPORT SM Supermalls recently signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with Tarlac State University (TSU) for training and employment partnerships.

SM City Tarlac and TSU forged the partnership on August 5, 2022.

The agreement aims to help qualified students learn and participate in the company’s apprentice programs and learning sessions to strengthen their knowledge, skills, and attitude in preparation for their future careers, as well as assist them in future job placements.

Under the MOA, TSU will also support SM Supermalls by advertising available job opportunities on its school bulletin boards and announcements on the school’s social media accounts and websites.

“We affirm, commit, and pledge our full support to SM and that we will surely do our best to comply with our roles and responsibilities in this MOA as we are grateful to SM for the generosity and loving-kindness you have for our students”, TSU President Dr. Arnold E. Velasco said.

Present during the MOA signing were TSU University President Velasco; Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Agnes M. Macaraeg; Student Welfare Services Head Dr. Grace Anne C. Hasegawa; SM City Tarlac Human Resource Manager Lesleyan A. Paguio who represented Vice President for Human Resource Cheryll Ruth L. Agsaoay; Regional Operations Manager Engr. Conrado M. Garcia Jr.; Mall Manager Engr. Darrel N. Ramos; Regional Recruitment Officer Charmaine Heidi D. Calub; and Public Relations Officer Shiela Mae M. Solis.
