CAGAYAN de Oro's active coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases are now at 181, the City Health Office reported on Monday, August 8, 2022.
Of the 181 active infections in the city, 72 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) and other hospitals in the city, 106 were outpatients, and three were returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs)/locally stranded individuals (LSIs).
Over the weekend, the City Health Office, Cagayan de Oro recorded 33 new cases, bringing the cumulative number of infections in the city to 26,405.
Of the 33 new cases, 18 were local index cases, six were authorized persons outside residence (Apors), four were local cases with link, three were Apors with link, one was an ROF, and one death.
The city also registered 19 new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered" over the weekend. This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 25,279.
Meanwhile, the number of Covid-19 deaths in the city is now at 945, with one new recorded Covid-related death.
