Korea's Black Eagles to perform over Pampanga

CLARK FREEPORT The Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) Black Eagles aerobatic team is set to perform at

the Basa Air Base in Floridblanca town, Pampanga this coming August 13 and 15, 2022.

The Philippine Air Force (PAF) announced this in its official Facebook on Monday.

In a separate social media post, the Pinoy Aviator stated that the Black Eagles belonging to the ROKAF's 53rd

Air Demonstration Group will visit the Bulldogs, the 7th Fighter Squadron of the 5th Fighther Wing in based

in Basa Air Base.

A Notice to Air Missions (NOTAMs) was issued in connection with the Black Eagles scheduled performance in the

province.

The Pinoy Aviators clarified that the air show will not be opened to the public.

But civilians and spectators may watch Black Eagles performance outside the Basa Air Base, according to the

military pilot group.

The ROKAF aerobatic team is based in Gangwon Province. It has operated in various occasions and ceremonies

all over the world.

Black Eagles pilots fly T-50B aircraft in their air shows.

The T-50 Golden Eagle is a family of South Korean supersonic advanced jet trainers and light combat aircraft developed by Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) with Lockheed Martin Corporation, an American firm that specializes on aerospace, arms, defense, information, security and technology.
