INTERNATIONAL tattoo chain SGoons Tattoo is officially opening a branch dedicated to tattoo supplies on Saturday, August 13th, at 3 p.m., just a few steps away from the the other well-known SGoons branch! SGoons Tattoo Supply will be at Unit 33, Century Plaza Complex, Juana Osmeña St., Cebu City.
Connecting the two Cebu locations is the passion that SGoons Tattoo founder, Michael Riff Vestil, kept alive—even as he had to put that passion on hold for a career that attracted more support from family, and had less surrounding stigma.
In 2010, Michael left his job as an architect and set up a small tattoo shop in Orchard Road in Singapore.
Knowing the struggle that Filipino tattoo artists had in finding good quality tattoo supplies locally, Michael brought SGoons Tattoo to his hometown, Cebu, in 2018. He initially founded SGoons Tattoo Supply with the goal of making high quality supplies more accessible and affordable, and in turn, reduce the discrimination that the tattoo community faces little by little.
It is this same drive to make tattooing within artists' reach, and to make people see the hardwork and talent involved that has made SGoons Tattoo Supply the brand it is today—inclusive and welcoming.
