CITY OF SAN FERNANDO Two separate anti-illegal drugs on Thursday, August 11 and Friday, August 12, nine suspects and suspected illegal drugs in Mabalacat City in Pampanga and nearby Camiling town in Tarlac province.
In Mabalacat City, a suspected drug den operator along with two alleged users were arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and local police at Roxas Street, Barangay Dau last Friday at around 3:45 pm.
Some P103,500 worth of suspected shabu was seized, along with the arrest of suspects identified as Christian Pecson alias Tisoy, 26, single; Josephine Ongoco, 22, single; and Harly Nolasco, 27. All suspects are residents of Barangay Dau.
Over in Tarlac, six drug suspects were collared inside a makeshift drug den that also led to the confiscation of some P136,000 worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation at Barangay Poblacion last Thursday night.
PDEA identified the suspects as Ian Tiamzon, 32; Dextie Dizon, 43; Arnel Elenzano, 35; Ricarte Prudencio 30; Kacy Chris I'm Grospe 31, all from Camiling town; and Jeffrey Pascual, 36 a resident of Barangay San Miguel, Tarlac City.
Cases for violation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects.
