IT firm eyes new sites in NegOcc

AN information technology (IT) firm has expressed intentions to open new sites in Bacolod City and other parts of Negros Occidental to bring employment and business opportunities as well as skills development for the Negrense youth.

Executives of HCL Technologies Philippines Inc. brought up such a plan to Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson in a meeting at the Provincial Capitol Building in Bacolod City Friday, August 12, 2022.

They were Giridhar V, Vice President and Global head NV, Digital Foundation Service; Roopesh Mishra, Country HR head; and Sundeep Kumar, Service Delivery leader.

HCL Technologies Philippines is Peza-certified and one of the leading information technology (IT) companies in the country.

Joining the meeting were Negros Occidental Language and IT Center (Nolitc) Administrator Dr. Ma. Cristina Orbecido and officers of the Bacolod-Negros Occidental Federation for ICT (Bnefit). (PR)
