OVER 557,000 people in Cagayan de Oro have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) as of August 14, 2022.
According to data presented by the City Health Office, Cagayan de Oro City has recorded a total of 557,408 fully vaccinated individuals, or 92.14 percent of the target population, which is at 604,953.
The target population includes children aged 12 years and above.
Of the target population, 582,887 Kagay-anons have already received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Cagayan de Oro also logged 155,702 individuals who already received their booster shots.
Meanwhile, a total of 28,859 children aged five to 11 in Cagayan de Oro have already received their second dose of Covid-19 vaccines as of July 29.
The target for the Covid-19 vaccination rollout for children aged five to 11 in Cagayan de Oro is 91,841.
According to the CHO's data, 39,938 children aged five to 11 or 41.29 percent of the total target population has already received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccines.
