Mayor Gerald Anthony “Samsam” Gullas announced on his Facebook page on Monday that he signed an executive order (EO) to implement a curfew for minors ages 17 years old and below from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. effective immediately.

The mayor said they decided to issue the EO to prepare for the start of limited face-to-face classes on Aug. 22.

The issuance of the EO also came following the arrest of an 18-year-old boy, believed to be a member of Batang Maghaway Group, who was caught carrying a knife in the wee hours in Barangay Dumlog. (ANV , BBT / TPT)
