Gonzalez said the DPWH temporarily stopped the construction of revetment with floodwall along the Mambulok Creek, Phase 2, because of the affected residents of the two barangays.

In Barangay 2, he said, a total of 10 houses will be affected by the project and another 20 houses from Barangay 8.

“We will find a way on how to address this issue,” Gonzales added.

It has a total project allocation of P16, 665,000.

“We need to explain it to the residents so that we can make our clear decision,” he said.
