Central Luzon cops ordered to conduct patrolling

BRIGADIER General Cesar Pasiwen, newly installed director of the Central Luzon police, has vowed to strengthen police patrolling in Central Luzon.

Pasiwen officially assumed his new post on Tuesday afternoon during a Change of Command ceremony held inside Camp Olivas in the City of San Fernando.

In his speech, the new regional police chief said police patrolling will be sustained in the region under his leadership.

“Despite the changing times, patrolling is indispensable for us policemen,” he said.

He also vowed to utilize the mobile forces to conduct foot, mobile and motorcycle patrol for maximum police visibility.

Pasiwen is a member of the Philippine National Police Academy Sandigan Class of 1994. He was the executive officer of APC-North Luzon before he was deployed as PRO-Central Luzon chief.

He replaced Brigadier General Matthew Baccay, who transferred to the Directorate for Personnel and Records Management in Camp Crame, Quezon City.
