A WOMAN and her alleged lover are in police custody after the latter’s wife had them arrested on Tuesday night, August 16, 2022.
Maria Charlette Dyrit, 37, and Allen Kirby Pabinguit, 34, were found living in the former’s house on Fuente Road in Barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City past 10:30 p.m.
Allen’s wife Palma Theresa, 29, who resides in Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City, barged into the house accompanied by barangay tanods.
Together they made a citizen’s arrest, handcuffed Dyrit and Allen, and immediately brought them to the Police Station 2-Lapu-Lapu City.
Dyrit is reportedly a local motorcycle vlogger and is better known as “TCH Diva.”
As for Allen, he originally hails from Candanay Sur, Siquijor Province.
The two are currently detained at the Police Station 2-Lapu-Lapu City.
A concubinage case has already been filed in court against Dyrit and Allen.
According to the Philippine Commission on Women, the offending husband may be punished by imprisonment ranging from six months and one day to a maximum of four years and one day.
The imposable penalty for the concubine is destierro, which is similar to a restraining order where the woman is not permitted to enter designated places the law specifies. (BBT, PJB)
