LOLONG’S impressive showing continues as this year’s biggest adventure-serye on Philippine primetime remains as the most watched on its timeslot, beating its new rival program.
Based on Nielsen Philippines’ National Urban TV Audience Measurement overnight ratings for Aug. 15, “Lolong,” which aired on both GMA and GTV, posted a combined people rating of 17.3 percent—beating its new rival show “Darna,” which only managed to get a combined people rating of 10.5 percent (TV5, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel and Cinemo).
The adventure-series bannered by Ruru Madrid continues to earn praises for its well-crafted storyline, powerhouse cast and impressive visuals.
“Lolong” also stars Shaira Diaz, Arra San Agustin, Christopher de Leon, Jean Garcia, Bembol Roco, Malou de Guzman, Rochelle Pangilinan, Paul Salas, Marco Alcaraz, Mikoy Morales and Maui Taylor.
More revelations and action-packed scenes await viewers as “Lolong” enters a new chapter. Set to add more color to Ruru’s character in the series are Vin Abrenica, Thea Tolentino, Alma Concepcion, Rafael Rosell and Lucho Ayala.
Catch “Lolong,” Monday to Friday, 8 p.m. after “24 Oras” on GMA Telebabad. Viewers can also catch it at 9:40 p.m. on GTV and on GMA Public Affairs social media accounts.
